‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ released against each other at the box office during festive seasons. The release could have been avoided. But the makers of both films were confident and stubborn to accept releasing their films together. The makers fought for maximum screens for their respective films. Singham Again was released on 60% of screens in India while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released on 40% of screens.
Earlier this year Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was announced to be released during the November 2024 weekend. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was supposed to release solo but Singham Again which was originally scheduled to release on 15th August 2024 got postponed to November 2024. Both the films were released on the same date 1st November. Fortunately, both Singham Again & Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have emerged as winners at the box office.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
The horror comedy film was one of the most awaited films of the year. It is the third installment of the horror comedy franchise. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 featured Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri in lead roles with Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Rajesh Sharma, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar among others. The film is directed by popular filmmaker Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is reportedly made on a budget of 150 crores. The makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have already recovered their budget through digital, songs, and theatrical rights of the film.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has opened to positive response. The film has received mixed to positive reviews from critics and highly positive feedback from the audience. Despite releasing with Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has earned over 110 crores in India and 150+ crores globally in just three days. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is considered as one of the biggest hits ever as it stars a young actor Kartik Aaryan who dared to release his film with a big entertainer film like Singham Again which has plenty of big Hindi movie stars.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is predicted to earn over 220+ crores in India and 300+ crores globally becoming a blockbuster. The film could have earned over 400+ crores globally if it had been released solo.

Singham Again is a big event and high-budget film. It is the fifth film from the Rohit Shetty Universe. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and features Ajay Devgn in the title role as Bajirao Singham and Kareena Kapoor Khan as his wife.
Singham Again features Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, T Shroff, and Deepika Padukone in an extended guest appearance from other films of Rohit Shetty Universe. The film also presents Salman Khan as Dabangg in a post-credit scene.

Both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have emerged as winners and are profitable ventures. But they would have earned more if one of the films had been released a week later.
