Fardeen Khan had made his Hindi film debut as a lead actor in the 1998 film Prem Aggan.
He has been featured in several commercially successful films like Om Jai Jagadish, Dev, Fida, Shaadi No. 1, No Entry, Aryan, Pyare Mohan, Hey Baby, Life Partner, All The Best, and Dulha Mil Gaya. All The Best was a major commercial success for him.
Released in 2010, Dulha Mil Gaya was his last film till he made his comeback in 2024.

After almost a decade and a half of hiatus, Fardeen Khan returned to acting with legendary Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project titled ‘Heeramandi’.
Heeramandi is a periodic drama web series for Netflix. With a budget of over 200 crores, it is the most expensive show ever made in India. upon its digital release, Heeramandi received mixed reviews but emerged as the most watched show on Netflix in 2024. It featured Fardeen Khan in the lead role. The show is returning with the second season.
Following Heeramandi, Fardeen Khan was seen playing one of the leads in the 2024 film Khel Khel Mein. Khel Khel Mein is a comedy drama film released on 15th August 2024. The film featured Fardeen Khan alongside Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Ammy Virk. The film received mixed reviews and was a box office bomb.
After Heeramandi and Khel Khel Mein, Fardeen Khan featured in the lead alongside Ritesh Deshmukh in a crime thriller film titled ‘Visfot’. The film premiered on the OTT platform Jio Cinema. The film received positive reviews and became one of the most watched films on the platform.
Fardeen Khan’s last release of the year is a crime thriller film titled ‘Devil: The Hero’. It is a Kannada language film set to release on 20th December 2024.
How Fardeen Khan made a comeback at the age of 50
Fardeen Khan shot for his web series ‘Heeramandi’ in 2022 while he shot the film Khel Khel Mein in 2023. In 2020, during the pandemic, Fardeen Khan was spotted outside the office of several film casting agencies.
Despite being from an influential film family and despite being a former renowned actor, Fardeen Khan was looking for work and he was asking for work. It’s not like filmmakers hired him because of his influential background.
In an interview, he said that he regrets his decision to take a break for so long. But he said that he is happy to have spent so much time with his kids. He also added that it is very hard to make a comeback and he feels fortunate to have been blessed with so many projects during his comeback.
Fardeen Khan is presently shooting for the fifth part of the Housefull film Franchise. He is playing one of the male leads in the film beside Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh. The trio Fardeen Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ritesh Deshmukh have featured together in the hit film Hey Baby.
