Lakshya debuted in Bollywood with the 2023 film Kill
TV and Film actor Lakshya is living his big Bollywood dream. He had a smashing debut in the film industry and he has already started the prep for his second film. He will be seen next in a romantic comedy film with well-known actress Ananya Pandey.
Lakshya took his Instagram account to announce his next film. The film is titled ‘Chand Mera Dil’ and it is directed by Vivek Soni. The film is set to release in 2025. It will be produced by Karan Johar who has signed a three film deal with Lakshya. His previous film ‘Kill’ too was produced by Karan Johar.
While Ananya Pandey is a famous actress, Lakshya is new to films.

Kill is a 2023 action film about two NSG (National Security Guard), India’s Elite Armed Forces, traveling in a train that gets attacked by burglars. The film is inspired by real-life events. Kill is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Karan Johar of Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga.

Lakshya’s Kill was released in the US and Canada in 2023 and it was released in India in 2024. It was also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 and at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2024.
Kill received widespread positive reviews in the US and won critical acclaim for its writing, screenplay, edition, direction, stunts, actions, and performance of Lakshya.
Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment, the makers of the John Wick franchise have bought the English remake rights of the film.
Kill was released theatrically in India on 5th July 2024. Again, in India, Kill received widespread critical acclaim and is regarded as the best action film in India ever. But in India, Kill failed to emerge as a commercial hit and was a decent hit at the box office.

The first two films of Lakshya were shelved and later Karan Johar handed over the script of Kill to him. Lakshya was supposed to make his debut with the sequel of Dostana with Kartik Aaryan and Jhanvi Kapoor. the film was shelved due to the creative differences between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar.
Later, Lakshya was supposed to make his debut with a romantic film with Shanaya Kapoor. That film too got shelved.
And, now as everyone knows, Lakshya finally made his dream debut with Kill. In an interview, he said that everything happens for a good reason. Kill was meant for him and he did it. And, literally, no other actor could have played NSG Commando Amrit Rathod better than Lakshya in Kill.
