The Pataudi Palace situated near Gurgaon City, Haryana State is one of the most beautiful and private properties in India. it is a palace kind heritage residence belonging to the Pataudi family. The Pataudi Palace is currently owned and managed by Bollywood film actor Saif Ali Khan who is a part of the Pataudi Palace.
According to the recent reports, there were rumors that Saif Ali Khan is planning his Pataudi Palace to renovate into a museum that will be open to the public and tourists.
Now Saif Ali Khan has finally cleared the rumours surrounding the Pataudi Palace.
Saif Ali Khan in an interview rejected such baseless rumors and confirmed that the Pataudi Palace is going to stay as it is.
He said that he never had any plans of converting his palace into a museum as a tourist attraction. He added that the Pataudi Palace holds significant sentimental value for him and his family and he is committed to preserving its heritage.
The Pataudi Palace is a private property spread over 30 acres. The private house has several bungalows, a big lawn, several car parking, staff rooms, a swimming pool, a gym, and a big fountain. The Pataudi Palace has never been open to tourists.
Saif Ali Khan’s web series titled ‘Tandav’ for Amazon Prime Video was extensively shot inside the Pataudi Palace.
Ranbir Kapoor’s 2023 blockbuster film ‘Animal’ was shot inside the Pataudi Palace. The Pataudi Palace was shown as Ranbir’s house in the film Animal. Ranbir Kapoor is the brother-in-law of Saif Ali Khan.
Several other films such as Meri Brother Ki Dulhan, Veer Zara, Mangal Pandey, Eat Pray Love, and Rang De Basanti were shot in the Pataudi Palace. Filmmakers have to pay a heavy amount to rent the Pataudi Palace to shoot their films. Saif Ali Khan often spends holiday at the Pataudi Palace with his wife and kids.
The Pataudi Palace is also known as Ibrahim Kothi. It was built by the Pataudi family in the Pataudi town of Gurgaon, Haryana. The property belongs to Saif Ali Khan’s ancestral family and is currently held by him because he is the current spearhead of the Pataudi family.
Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan and his great-grandfather Iftikhar Ali Khan were a part of the Nawab of Pataudi, a ruling family near Delhi. Both Mansoor Ali Khan and Iftikhar Ali Khan played international cricket.
