Indian movie superstar Salman Khan has arrived in Hyderabad from Mumbai. The actor along with his work team and his security team have arrived in Hyderabad to shoot the second schedule of his upcoming action film Sikandar.
The last few weeks have been pretty worrying and terrifying for Salman Khan and his family. There were speculations that he would be taking a break from his professional life and staying at home due to his security concerns. But he is Salman Khan. Nobody can stop him.
Salman Khan is in Hyderabad and he is shooting at the legendary Taj Falaknuma Palace.
The Falaknuma Palace
Falaknuma Palace is one of the world’s best, highly rated, and most celebrated hotel properties. It is managed by The Taj Hotels & Resorts which is one of the world’s biggest hospitality brands. The Taj Hotels & Resorts owns more than 200+ hotels in the world.
Falaknuma Palace was built and originally belonged to the Paigah Family. Later it was sold to Nizam of Hyderabad. In 1951, the Taj Group of Hotels took Falaknuma Palace on lease and transformed it into a hotel. Falaknuma Palace has hostel several distinguished world leaders, billionaires, CEOs, VIPs, sportspersons, and members of the Royal Family.
Salman Khan who is shooting at the Falaknuma Palace has a special connection with the place. In 2014, Salman Khan’s younger sister Arpita Khan Sharma got married to her husband Aayush Sharma at the Falaknuma Palace. Falaknuma Palace is a destination wedding venue too.
Besides Salman Khan’s film Sikandar, a few scenes of Yash’s film KGF Chapter 2 and Prabhas’s film Radhe Shyam have been shot at the Falaknuma Palace too.
According to the reports, Salman Khan is going to stay in Hyderabad for a while now. The shooting schedule at the Falaknuma Palace might take a few weeks. Salman Khan who hosts the reality show Bigg Boss 18 will arrive in Mumbai every weekend from Hyderabad. He will travel in a private jet from Hyderabad to Mumbai and then back to Hyderabad from Mumbai every weekend to shoot for Bigg Boss 18.
Alongside Salman Khan, Sikandar’s lead actress Rashmika Mandanna is too going to shoot at the Falaknuma Palace. The film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala is present at the hotel too due to the controversies surrounding in media regarding Salman Khan.
Along with a team of Mumbai and Hyderabad police, Salman Khan’s private bodyguard is taking care of Salman’s security in Hyderabad. Salman Khan is surrounded by over 60+ guards.
After wrapping up the film shoot in Hyderabad, Salman Khan along with Rashmika Mandanna will fly to Europe in January to shoot the outdoor scenes.
Sikandar is scheduled to be released in March or April during EID 2025. The film is directed by popular filmmaker A R Murugadoss. Sikandar also stars Kajal Aggarwal as the second lead actress opposite Salman Khan.
Sikandar is considered as Salman Khan’s comeback film following a series of underperformed films.
