    Shahrukh Khan’s comeback is nothing sort of extraordinary. He delivered consecutive box office flops. He took a major hiatus, came back in 2023, and delivered two major commercial successfully films and one hit film.

    Following the footsteps of his friend Shahrukh Khan, now even Aamir Khan is discussing films with a few highly successful directors from the South Film Industry, especially from the Tamil Film Industry.

    Aamir Khan has met director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most successful Tami film directors. He is known for directing blockbuster films like Master, Leo, Kaithi, Vikram, and the upcoming Coolie, Vikram 2, Rolex and Kaithi 2.

    Lokesh Kanagaraj has met Aamir Khan in Chennai and they are discussing a film together which is almost confirmed.

    According to the reports, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Aamir Khan are planning a large scale film where Aamir Khan will take the lead role. The film will be produced by Sun Pictures. The budget of the film will be over 200+ crores excluding Aamir Khan’s fees. It will be released in several languages such as Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The film is expected to go on floors in 2025 and will be released in the second half of 2026.

    Some reports also suggest that before their film collaboration, Aamir Khan will most likely to an extended guest appearance in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2025 directional film ‘Coolie’. Coolie is a high budget film starring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead. The film also stars popular Telugu actor Nagarjuna.

    Besides Lokesh Kanagaraj, Aamir Khan has met a few other Telugu film directors. At present, Aamir Khan has recently wrapped up the shooting of his 2025 film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The film was earlier scheduled to be released in December 2024 but was postponed to 2025.

    Sitaare Zameen Par will be released with the least expectations. It is not a hyped film. Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports drama film, a genre that presently is not working in Indian films. In recent months, critically acclaimed sports drama films like ‘Maidaan’ and ‘Chandu Champion’ have failed at the box office.

    Overall, one has to wait and watch Sitaare Zameen Par before passing judgment. Aamir Khan is a genius actor and filmmaker. He won’t act in an ordinary film.     Before her wedding to star cricketer Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma was considered one of the biggest and most successful actresses ever.     Aamir Khan said that in 2020 he was 56 and he thought this was the last leg of his career. But now the actor is certain that he wants to make a comeback, he desires to work hard till he is 70. He will continue to do one film a year but his production company will back multiple projects and stories that he feels confident about.

    Aamir Khan’s last produced film Laapataa Ladies is one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year. The film is directed and written by his ex-wife Kiran Rao. Laapataa Ladies was screened at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival in September 2023. Laal Singh Chaddha released on 11 August 2022 to mixed to negative reviews and was a box office flop. It was the second consecutive flop for Aamir Khan. Now after two massive hit films in 2023, Shahrukh Khan has announced his next film titled King.

    The film is currently under production. It will be jointly co-produced by Shahrukh Khan and popular Indian filmmaker Siddharth Anand. King is a special film for Shahrukh Khan and his family. It is the debut movie of Suhana Khan, Shahrukh Khan’s daughter. Earlier Shahrukh Khan was set to make a special appearance in the film. But now he has come on board for an extensive role. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan in the main character.

    Hrithik Roshan’s ‘W2’ is the biggest and most awaited film of 2025. Several well-known film critics have predicted W2 to emerge as the highest-grossing film of 2025.
