    Actor Ajay Devgn who leads Singham Again on his shoulders has charged a whopping 50 crores for his performance. The budget of Singham is over 300 crores. Ajay Devgn is one of the co-producers of the film.

    Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan who plays the female lead as Singham’s wife has been 12 crores for her performance.

    Actor T Shroff and actress Deepika Padukone are the two new entrants in the Rohit Shetty Universe. In future, Rohit Shetty will make a female led film reportedly titled ‘Lady Singham’ with Deepika Padukone and another film with T Shroff. They both were officially introduced in Singham Again.

    Deepika Padukone received a cheque of 4 crores while T Shroff received a cheque of 2 crores for their guest appearances.

    Director Rohit Shetty who co-produced the film, written it and directed it will take home at least 100 crores.

    Last but not the least, one of India’s highest paid actors, Salman Khan reprised his most iconic role of Chulbul Pandey in Singham Again. Rohit Shetty plans the merge Dabangg film franchise with his Universe. Salman Khan will only feature in a standalone film with Ajay Devgn. Other characters such as Akshay Kumar, T Shroff, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh won’t feature in Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan’s standalone film that will be directed by Rohit Shetty.

    Salman Khan shot for his cameo in Singham Again in just a day. His cameo was almost cancelled due some difficulties in Salman Khan’s personal life and his security concerns. But because of his close friendship with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, Salman Khan did the cameo on an urgent basic and charged no fees for it.

    Popular Hindi film actor Ritesh Deshmukh has joined the cast of Raid 2. The film was earlier scheduled to be released in December 2024 but was postponed to 2025. Raid 2 is a sequel to the original Raid film that was released in 2018.

    The sequel for Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh’s De De Pyaar De has officially been announced. The first part was released in 2019. The shooting for the second part has already begin with Ajay Devgn.

    De De Pyaar De (2019) is a Hindi romantic comedy film starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The film also features Javed Jaffrey, Tabu, Jimmy Shergil, Alok Nath, and Kumud Mishra in the supporting roles.

    De De Pyaar De (2019) is about a couple with an age gap of about 25 years, played by Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.

    Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn) and Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh) are Indians who meet in London and fall in love and want to get married. Ashish has separated from his wife Manju (Tabu) who lives in India with their kids. Whereas, Ayesha wants to break up with his boyfriend Aakash (Sunny Singh).

    Later, Ashish decides to introduce Ayesha to his parents and his ex-wife and they arrive in India.

    De De Pyaar De 2

    Now in De De Pyaar De 2, Ashish (Ajay Devgn) will go to meet Ayesha’s parents (Rakul Preet Singh) with lots of misunderstanding, confusion, and comedy.

    De De Pyaar De 2 is currently being filmed in Amritsar, Punjab, India and later the film will be filmed in London. The film is set to release globally in May 2025.

    Earlier, actor Anil Kapoor had joined the cast of De De Pyaar De 2. He was signed to play the role of Ayesha’s dad. But later Anil Kapoor opted out of the project for another big film. R Madhavan has replaced Anil Kapoor and has come on board to play the role of Ayesha’s father.

    De De Pyaar De 2 is already one of the most awaited films of 2025. The first part of the film was a huge success on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar.     In 2023, Arjun Kapoor and actress Bhumi Pednekar starred in a film titled ‘The Lady K’. The film was released in theatres on November 3, 2023, to a devastating response. The film had no buzz on the ground or on social media. The film had to marketing or promotional strategy. The makers abandoned the film.

    The Lady K was made on a budget of 45 crores and did not even earn 1 lakh in India. It is considered as the biggest box office flops in the history of Indian Cinema. Following its disastrous response in theatres, no OTT or digital platforms like Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video, and Sony Liv bought the digital rights of the film. The makers had to release the entire film on YouTube.

Singham Again was released on 60% of screens in India while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released on 40% of screens.

    Earlier this year Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was announced to be released during the November 2024 weekend. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was supposed to release solo but Singham Again which was originally scheduled to release on 15th August 2024 got postponed to November 2024. Both the films were released on the same date 1st November. Fortunately, both Singham Again & Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have emerged as winners at the box office.

    The Rohit Shetty Universe is one of the biggest and most successful film franchises.     In 2018, Rohit Shetty introduced Ranveer Singh as the new character of his Universe. Ranveer Singh was featured in the movie Simmba which was an official remake of Jr NTR’s Telugu film Temper. Simmba received highly positive reviews and emerged as a blockbuster. In the post-credit scene of Simmba, director Rohit Shetty introduced another Bollywood superstar as the new character in his Universe. We all saw actor Akshay Kumar making a short appearance as Sooryavanshi in Simmba. Ajay Devgn too featured in a lengthy guest appearance as Singham in Simmba.

    Akshay Kumar led Sooryavanshi is the first film where Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar featured together in the climax. Sooryavanshi emerged as a blockbuster in 2021.

    Popular Indian filmmaker Rohit Shetty is returning with another film in 2024. His last film came in 2021 with the Akshay Kumar led Sooryavanshi. His 2024 mega release is Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn in the title role as Bajirao Singham. It is the fifth installment of the Rohit Shetty Universe. The film is set to release worldwide on 1st November.

    The trailer of the film was released recently in a grand way. With an extent of 4.50 minutes is the longest trailer ever for an Indian movie. As was announced earlier and as seen in the trailer, the other two other actors from the Rohit Shetty Universe, Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao make an extended cameo appearance in the film.     The trailer of Singham Again is 4.50 minutes which is quite frustrating. Every actor gets a lengthy introduction scene. The trailer is bursting with cringe dialogues and mindless stunt sequences. The entire film has CGI and VFX graphics.

    Singham Again might come as cringe to many. There are too many guest appearances and too many big stars featuring. And it doesn’t end here as one big superstar is set to make a guest appearance in the post-credit scenes of the film.

But now with Singham Again coming in November things have got uglier and this will affect the business of both of the films. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is one of the most awaited films of the year.

    Singham Again is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and Jio Studios. Both the films Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are sure shot superhits. But with Salman Khan making a cameo in Singham Again, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 would be anxious. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has to be a massive entertaining comedy horror film to become a blockbuster.  While Singham Again is a certified blockbuster even if it receives mixed reviews.

    Singham Again is set to become the highest grossing film for Rohit Shetty by beating the lifetime collection of his previous films ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Simmba’.

Ajay Devgn is one of the biggest superstars of India. He has five big films releasing in 2024.

    Ajay Devgn had a good decade from 2010 to 2024. He delivered numerous blockbuster and iconic films such as Singham, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Golmaal 3, Raajneeti, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Rascals, Bol Bachchan, Son of Sardaar, Singham Returns, Drishyam, Shivaay, Baadshaho, Golmaal Again, Raid, Total Dhamaal, De De Pyaar De, Tanhaji, Runway 34, Drishyam 2, Bholaa, Shaitaan and Maidaan.

    In 2020, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior remained as the highest-grossing film of the year. The film was released in January 2020 and saw the hype. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior had opened to widespread critical acclaim and grossed over 300 crores globally. The film was directed by Om Raut.

    In 2021, Ajay Devgn starred in a guest appearance as Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. Sooryavanshi starred Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi in Rohit Shetty’s Universe. The film also had a guest appearance by Ranveer Singh as Simmba. Ranveer earlier starred as Simmba in a 2018 movie titled Simmba.

    After no big release in 2021, Ajay Devgn had five releases in 2022. His first release of the year was Runway 34 which was directed and produced by him as well. Though Runway 34 flopped to perform well at the box office it received a positive response and performed well digitally on the OTT platform. His second release of 2022 was a comedy-drama film titled ‘Thank God’ which again flopped to perform well at the box office. The film also starred Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.

    Ajay Devgn’s final release of 2022 in lead was Drishyam 2. Drishyam 2 received widespread critical acclaim and grossed over 350 crores globally and over 200 crores in India. Drishyam 2 (Hindi) was an official remake of Drishyam 2 (Malayalam) that was released on the OTT platform in 2020. The film was directed by Abhishek Pathak and starred Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutt, Kamlesh Sawant and Saurabh Shukla besides Ajay Devgn.

    In 2022, Ajay starred in a guest appearance in two of the most critical acclaim films of the year, RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi.

    In 2023, Ajay Devgn had only one release. He starred in the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil drama stunt film Kaithi. The Hindi remake was titled ‘Bholaa’ and starred Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Sanjay Mishra in the leads. The film was directed and produced by Ajay Devgn as well. Despite receiving mixed reviews, Bholaa managed to perform well at the box office.

    His first release of 2024 was a supernatural horror film titled ‘Shaitaan’. The film is directed by Vikas Behl and stars Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, R. Madhavan, Janki Bodiwala, and Aangad Raaj. The film was released on 8 March 2022 to positive reviews. The film grossed over 200 crores globally collected over 150 crores in India and became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.

    Ajay Devgn’s second release of 2024 came as ‘Maidaan’ a biographical sports drama film. The film was directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Boney Kapoor. Maidaan was one of the most anticipated films in the past few years. The film was originally announced in 2019 but faced several delays. The film was finally released in 2024 but underperformed at the box office despite receiving positive reviews. The football drama film is based on Indian Football and Indian Football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

    Ajay Devgn’s next release of the year is a romantic film titled ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. The film is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. Neeraj Pandey is highly known for directing movies and shows such as Baby, A Wednesday, S O, Special 26, and a cricket biopic on Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a special and fresh project for Neeraj Pandey. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jimmy Shergil, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar. The film is set to release on 2nd August 2024.

    Ajay Devgn’s fourth release of the year is Singham Again. Singham Again is the biggest film of his career and one of the most anticipated films of 2024. It is the fifth film from Rohit Shetty’s Universe. The film follows the event of Sooryavanshi. Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn in the title role of Singham and Kareena Kapoor Khan as his wife.

    The film as usual has guest appearances by Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh as Simmba. Deepika Padukone and T Shroff are the two new in Rohit Shetty’s Universe. T and Deepika too will be seen in a guest appearance in Singham Again. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist against Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Jackie Shroff in a key role. The film is set to be released in November 2024. Singham Again is expected to become a major commercial success at the box office. The film is shot in many locations such as Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kashmir.

    Ajay Devgn’s final release of 2024 is Raid 2. Raid 2 is a sequel to the 2018 drama film Raid starring Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla, and Ileana D’cruz. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Raid 2 once again is based on the true stories of the Income Tax Department. Raid 2 stars Vaani Kapoor as the female lead and Ritesh Deshmukh as the main antagonist. The film is currently under production and set to release this year.

    Ajay Devgn is currently shooting for De De Pyaar De 2, Golmaal 5, and Son of Sardaar 2. All the films are expected to be released in 2025.
