    Roar Of The L (2019)

    Hotstar started its production in India with a documentary show titled Roar of The L. The show was directed by Amir Rizvi and produced by ace filmmaker Kabir Khan. The English documentary is based on IPL team CSK who faced a two-year ban from 2015 to 2017 and returned in 2018 and won the trophy making a huge comeback.

    C Justice (2019 – Present)

    C Justice was the first ever web series by Hotstar India. The first season is based on a British television show of the same name. The first season stars Vikrant Massey, Pankaj Tripathi, Jackie Shroff, Anupriya Goenka, Madhurima Roy, and Mita Vashisht among others. The first season contains 10 episodes and follows the life of Aditya Sharma (Vikrant Massey) who is accused in a false case and his fight to get justice with the help of his lawyer Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi).

    The first season was opened to widespread critical acclaim, praising the performance of Vikrant Massey and Pankaj Tripathi. The show was renewed for the second and third seasons where Pankaj Tripathi reprised his role as lawyer. The fourth season is set to release soon. It’s the most successful show by Hotstar.

    S O (2020 – Present)

    S O is a show by Hotstar India. The show is written, produced, and directed by ace filmmaker Neeraj Pandey along with his team. Neeraj Pandey has directed several critically acclaimed and successful movies such as A Wednesday, Special 26, and Baby. S O was an attempt by Neeraj Pandey to display his passion for making films and series more grandly. And he did achieve success.

    Upon its release, S O received positive reviews from the critics whereas the audience demanded the second immediately as they loved the first season. The show originally stars Kay Kay Menon, Karan Tacker, and Vinay Pathak among others. Actor Sajjad Delafrooz played the main antagonist in the first season. The show was renewed for another season titled S O 1.5. Another season titled S O 2 is set to release soon.

    Aarya (2020 – Present)

    Aarya is a drama show that marks the comeback and digital debut of popular film actress Sushmita Sen. The show is directed by Neerja fame director Ram Madhvani. The show stars Sushmita Sen as a housewife. The first season was released to critical acclaim and was recently nominated as the Best Drama Series at the Emmy International Awards. The show contains three seasons with the third season released recently. The show is set to return with the fourth season.

    The Night Manager (2023)

    The Night Manager is a drama series available on Hotstar. The Night Manager is an official remake of the 2016 British show of the same name which starred Tom Hiddleston in the title role. The Indian version of The Night Manager stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Sobhita Dhulipala among others. Owning to the popularity of the star cast, The Night Manager opened to widespread critical acclaim praising the direction, quality of the show, and cinematography. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Anil Kapoor were highly praised for their performance. The show is directed by Sandeep Modi.

    Kerala C Files (2023 – Present)

    Kerala C Files is perhaps one of the best shows on Hotstar. The drama show is directed by Ahammed Khabeer and stars Aju Varghese, Lal, and Zhinz Shan among others. The show received positive reviews from critics and is renewed for a second season.

    Rudra: The Edge of Darkness (2022 – Present)

    Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is a show by Hotstar India. Rudra is the official Indian adaption of the popular British series Luther starring Idris Elba. Rudra stars and marks the digital debut of popular Indian film actor Ajay Devgn. The show also stars Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, and Ashish Vidyarthi among others. The show is renewed for a second season.

    Shoorveer (2022 – Present)

    Shoorveer is an drama show by Hotstar in collaboration with Juggernaut Productions. The show stars an ensemble cast of Regina Cassandra, Armaan Ralhan, Manish Chaudhari, Aadil Khan, Makarand Deshpande, Shivya Pathania, Arif Zakaria, and Abhishek Saha among others. The show is renewed for a second season. The show was released on 15 July 2022.

    The Freelancer (2023 – Present)

    The Freelancer is another drama show by the makers of S O. The Freelancer was released on 1 September 2023 to positive reviews. The Freelancer stars Mohit Raina as Avinash Kamath.  Alongside Mohit Raina, the show stars Anupam Kher, Kashmira Pardeshi, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Manjari Fadnis, Sarah Jane Dias, and Sushant Singh. The show is renewed for a second season.

    Saas, Bahu Aur F (2023 – Present)

    Released on 5 May 2023, Saas, Bahu Aur F is a comedy drama series created and directed by Homi Adajania. Saas, Bahu Aur F received over five nominations at the Filmfare OTT Awards. Saas, Bahu Aur F stars an ensemble cast of Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, Angira Dhar, Varun Mitra, Ashish Verma, Deepak Dobriyal, Naseeruddin Shah and Monica Dogra among others. Upon its release, Saas, Bahu Aur F received positive reviews from the critics. Saas, Bahu Aur F might return with another season.

  • What’s Next For Shahrukh Khan After Jawan

    After a string of setbacks, Shahrukh Khan made one of the biggest comebacks ever.

    He delivered three commercially successful films in a single year.

    In 2023, actor Shahrukh Khan made the biggest comeback in the history of Indian Cinema. What he went through in the past few years and how he carried himself is surprising and inspiring.

    Having made his debut in 1992, Shahrukh Khan delivered quite a few hits and classic films such as Baazigar, Darr, Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Badshaah in the ’90s.

    Between 2002-2013, he played the lead in many blockbusters and iconic films such as Devdas, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Main Hoon Na, Veer Zara, Swades, D Part 1 and D Part 2, Chak De India, Om Shanti Om, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, MNIK, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and Chennai Express. All highly celebrated, successful, and critically acclaimed movies.

    In 2014 and 2015, Shahrukh Khan starred in Happy New Year and Dilwale, both films were commercially successful but received mixed to negative reviews. In 2016 he starred in Maneesh Sharma’s film Fan which was the first flop film for Shahrukh Khan after a long time. The film received negative reviews and was a flop at the box office. In 2017, he starred in Rahul Dholakia’s Raees which did pretty decent business at the box office but did not do perform extraordinarily.

    Shahrukh Khan’s career took a major setback when he starred in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry Met Sejal. The film starred Anushka Sharma opposite Shahrukh Khan. Released in 2017, Jab Harry Met Sejal received highly negative reviews and emerged as a box office flop. Shahrukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali were highly criticized for doing the film.

    Post Jab Harry Met Sejal, Shahrukh Khan starred in Anand L Rai’s Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Zero was one of the most anticipated films of 2018. The film also starred Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, Sridevi, Juhi Chawla, and Alia Bhatt in guest appearances. Upon its release, Zero opened to highly negative reviews and was declared a box office flop.

    After a series of flop and average films such as Fan, Happy New Year, Dilwale, Jab Harry Met Sejal, and Zero, Shahrukh Khan took a major hiatus of five years.

    Released in 2013, Chennai Express was his last blockbuster film that was cherished by the audience. Many even thought that the actor was finished and he would no longer taste success in his film career. The actor had no major film release till 2023. However, he made special appearances in 2022 films such as Rocketry, Brahmastra, and Laal Singh Chaddha.

    After a hiatus of five years, Shahrukh Khan returned in 2023 with three major film releases.

    In January 2023 he starred Yash Raj Film’s Pathaan from the YRF Universe. Pathaan stars Shahrukh Khan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Salman Khan who stars as T in YRF’s ETT and TZH reprised his role in Pathaan by doing a guest appearance. Pathaan was made on a budget of 225 crores and was released on 25 January 2023. The film is directed by Sidharth Anand.

    Upon its release, Pathaan received highly positive reviews and was named it a very entertaining high-octane film. Pathaan broke several records and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever. By the end of its theatrical run, Pathaan was declared the biggest blockbuster by grossing over 1000+ crores at the box office. It was the beginning of Shahrukh Khan’s epic comeback.

    In the same year, in September, Shahrukh Khan played the lead in the film Jawan alongside, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone (special appearance). Jawan was another high-octane epic film by Shahrukh Khan after Pathaan. The film is directed by Atlee. Upon its release, Jawan was declared a blockbuster on the first day itself. The film broke several box office records to emerge as a major commercially successful film. The film shattered all the records created by Pathaan and registered new box office records that are perhaps difficult for any other film to break anytime soon. Like Pathaan, Jawan too grossed over 1000+ crores at the box office.

    With Pathaan and Jawan, Shahrukh Khan made the biggest comeback in the history of Indian Cinema. He was the most popular star in India throughout the year. In December 2023 he had his final and third release of the year with Rajkumar Hirani. The actor acted in Rajkumar Hirani’s drama film Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Hirani, Anil Grover, Vikram Kochhar, and Vicky Kaushal (special appearance). Dunki, however, received mixed reviews and did not perform like Pathaan and Jawan. But the film was still commercially successful for the makers.

    Following a five-year hiatus, Shahrukh Khan had three major commercial hits in 2023 which once again cemented his status as the King of Indian Cinema. He made one of the biggest comebacks in the history of World Cinema. But now what’s next for him now?

    There is no major release of Shahrukh Khan as of now. According to the reports, the actor will soon start shooting for a film titled King. King is an big entertainer film that marks the debut of Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. The film is directed by Sujoy Dosh and produced by Shahrukh Khan and Sidharth Anand. Shahrukh Khan plays a extensive special appearance in the film.

    Besides King, a sequel to Pathaan 2 is confirmed and Shahrukh Khan will reprise his role. Besides YRF is also planning a movie with Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan called T vs P. This will be YRF’s most ambitious film from the Universe. Shahrukh Khan will face off against Salman Khan in T vs P.

    Both Pathaan 2 and T vs P will take quite a few years to release. Shahrukh Khan will be seen next in King which is currently under production. The film is said to be shot in many international locations. The film is set to be released in 2025.

    In his 1.0, between 1989 and 2006. Salman Khan delivered quite a few box office hits. He was a popular star but not a superstar. He faced setbacks in 2006-2008 by delivering a few consecutive flops.

    But he changed his gears in 2008 and thus began the thrust of Salman Khan 2.0.

    In 2008 Salman Khan collaborated with director Prabhu Deva for Wanted. Upon its release, Wanted became a massive success at the box office. But nobody had expected that Wanted would happen to be Salman Khan’s turning point in his Bollywood career. Post Wanted Salman Khan understood that the audience wanted to see him massive entertainer and he started doing such films. Post Wanted every film he did was a massive hit at the box office. Films such as Dabangg, Ready, and Bodyguard. In between he always produced a film titled ‘Chillar Party’. Salman Khan won the National Award for Best Children’s Film for Chillar Party.

    In 2013 Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starred together in Kabir Khan and YRF’s ETT. The romantic film was the highest-grossing film of the year and broke several box office records. ETT was the first instalment from YRF’s current film franchise the ‘Universe’. Which is the biggest and most successful film franchise in Bollywood. After ETT, Salman starred Dabangg 2, Kick and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. All massively successful films at the box office.

    In 2015 Salman Khan collaborated with Kabir Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is the most special film for Salman Khan. His performance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan is been held as his career-best performance. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is considered one of the best Indian films to date and one of the biggest hits for Salman Khan grossing over 900+ crores. Bajrangi Bhaijaan even won the National Film Award for the most popular film with wholesome entertainment.

    Post Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan starred in Sultan and TZH. Upon its release, Sultan and TZH opened to rave reviews and positive responses. By the end of its theatrical run, both films had emerged as blockbusters. But who knew it would be the end of giving blockbuster films for Salman Khan at the box office?

    Since 2018, Salman Khan has been struggling to hit a big box office such as his previous films Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, and TZH. He has been widely criticized for doing mediocre and nonsense films such as Radhe, Race 3, Dabangg 3, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He has been advised by critics and fans to do big event films.

    In 2023, Bollywood saw a big change in terms of the perception of the audience. The audience no longer wants to see something average on the screen. Successful films of 2023 such as Pathaan, Jawan, and Animal showed that the audience now thus wants big high-octane films with a strong subject and story. Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was released in 2023 to negative reviews. The film still did decent business because of Salman Khan’s superstardom. But it is considered a horrible film. In the same year, Salman Khan delivered his much-awaited T3. T3 was predicted to become one of the highest-grossing films of all time. However, the film received mixed reviews and did not perform as per expectations. Though the film did good business at the box office.

    Now after a series of constant average films, Salman Khan has once again changed gears and began his 3.0. He is now looking to do high-octane films with strong subjects or stories and work only with big filmmakers.

    Salman Khan has no release in 2024 as he is busy shooting Sikander. Sikander is an upcoming high-budget film starring Salman Khan. The makers of Sikander are pretty confident in terms of making the film. The film is a strong story and producer Sajid Nadiadwala is spending hundreds of crores on the lavishness of the film. The film is said to be shot in many international locations as well. The film is directed by A.R Murugadoss who is considered as one of the finest filmmakers of India and one of the biggest directors from the south. Sikander is expected to become a massive blockbuster when it releases. The star Rashmika Mandhana is the female lead.

    Besides Sikander, Salman Khan is set to collaborate with Karan Johar and Vishnu Vardhan. The film is titled ‘The B’. Vishnu Vardhan who directed Shershaah for Karan Johar will be directed by Salman Khan in The Bull. The film is still in pre-production and is expected to release in 2026. Salman Khan and Karan Johar are set to collaborate for the first time for a big full-fledged film.

    After Sikander and The B, Salman Khan is rumored to collaborate with Kabir Khan for an film. Salman Khan is also in the news for collaborating with popular director Atlee who directed one of the biggest hits of all time ‘Jawan’. According to the reports, Atlee is planning a two-hero big film with Salman Khan and a superstar from the south. If the reports are to be believed it’s either Rajinikanth or Fahadh Faasil with Salman Khan in Atlee’s next.

    In an event in 2021, Salman Khan confirmed that Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is planned too. So, the Salman Khan 3.0 looks good. He has quite a few promising films in the pipeline and he is working with big directors.

    Atlee is bringing in Salman Khan and a South Superstar for his next

    The Indian Film Industry is soon going to witness the biggest casting in the history of cinema. According to the reports director Atlee is going to bring Salman Khan and Rajnikanth together for a big film.

    Atlee might be the youngest but he is the most successful filmmaker in Indian Cinema. His last film with Shahrukh Khan was Jawan which had broken several box office records and emerged as one of the biggest hits of Indian Cinema and the biggest hit of Bollywood. Atlee has indeed met Salman Khan and discussed a film with him and is often spotted with him. While some reports strongly suggest that it is Rajinikanth with Salman Khan in Atlee’s next, some reports suggest that is not Rajnikanth it is Fahadh Faasil with Salman Khan.

    Salman Khan and Rajinikanth are amongst the biggest superstars in the country. Their coming together for a high-octane film would be the biggest news of the year. If it happens, this film directed by Atlee would break and rewrite several box office records.

    We also can’t rule out Fahadh Faasil since some reports suggest that he is opposite Salman Khan in Atlee’s next film. Fahadh Faasil is one of the greatest actors in Indian Cinema. He is widely regarded as the most talented actor of Indian Cinema and one of the greatest artists from Malayalam Industry.

    Fahadh Faasil is now gradually growing his screen presence in the north by doing pan-India films. In 2022, he starred together with Kamal Hassan and Vijay Sethupathi in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram which emerged as a blockbuster. Fahadh Faasil’s character in Vikram was widely hailed and earned him a huge fan following in North India.

    He also starred in Allu Arjun’s most popular film Pushpa: The Rise in 2021 which was a blockbuster. While Fahadh Faasil plays a small guest appearance in Pushpa Part 1, he will be seen in a full-fledged role as the antagonist in the second part of Pushpa.

    His last film Aavesham was released recently to widespread critical acclaim which resulted in a huge fan following for Fahadh Faasil in many northern parts of the country such as Delhi, Punjab, UP, Bihar, Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. If it’s him against Salman Khan in Atlee’s next, we expect the film to emerge as one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever.

    But we hope it’s the mighty Indian Legend Rajnikanth in Atlee’s next Salman Khan. Salman Khan and Rajnikanth coming together for a high-budget film will be one of the greatest experiences for Indian Cinema. They are two of the most loved superstars in the country. Rajnikanth is a legend. From north to south, the entire India loves him. He was last seen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s J produced by Kalanithi Maran. Upon its release, J received a positive response from critics and the audience hailed Rajnikanth’s mighty performance. J became the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023 and the second-highest-grossing Tamil film of all time. It’s obvious people love to see Rajnikanth doing stunts even at the age of 73. While there is no confirmation of Rajnikanth doing Atlee’s next with Salman Khan, he is confirmed to star in J 2.

    Atlee directed Shahrukh Khan’s 2023 blockbuster Jawan

    Post the outstanding success of Jawan, Atlee is the most demanded director in India. Post the success of Jawan, in an interview he desired his wish to work with Salman, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Ranveer Singh after Shahrukh Khan in Jawan. Atlee had also locked a script and film with Allu Arjun but according to the reports, the film is shelved. He will now work with Salman Khan on a high-budget film. The young director started his career as an assistant director to S. Shankar in the film Enthiran (2010). He made his directional debut with a film titled Raja Rani which was a decent success at the box office. Atlee tasted mammoth success after directing superstar Vijay in movies such as Their (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019).

    In 2019 during an IPL cricket match between CSK and KKR in Chennai, Atlee met Shahrukh Khan. Both attended the match as Atlee is a CSK fan and Shahrukh Khan is the owner of the KKR team. During their meeting, Atlee expressed his desire to work with Shahrukh Khan and he narrated the Jawan script to him in 2020.

    Jawan was released in 2023 to positive reviews and was the most popular film of the year. The popularity resulted in a strong opening day at the box office. But it was the story, script, performance by Shahrukh Khan, and Atlee’s direction that Jawan registered and broke several box office records by the end of its theatrical run. Jawan collected over 550 crores in India and grossed over 1000 crores at the worldwide box office. Post Jawan, Atlee is producing a film titled ‘Baby John’. Baby John stars Varun Dhawan in the lead and it is an official remake of Atlee’s 2016 release Theri with Vijay.

    It is confirmed that Atlee and Salman Khan are working together. However, there is no confirmation of the star cast the film title, or the film release date. According to the reports, Atlee will soon narrate the script to Salman Khan and a big superstar of the South, according to the reports it’s Rajinikanth or Fahadh Faasil.

    For now, Salman Khan is shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s next titled Sikander. The film is produced by another popular director of south cinema Mr. A. R Murugadoss who directed Aamir Khan in Ghajini. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Sikander is said to be the most ambitious film of Salman Khan. The actor is set to portray a larger-than-life role and it is going to be a different kind of experience for his fans. Salman Khan’s last few releases such as Radhe, Dabangg 3, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan have disappointed his fans. His fans are requesting him to stop doing small mediocre films and do event films with big filmmakers of the country.

    Rajkummar Rao is amongst the finest actors in India. Hailing from a small town in India to becoming one of the greats of Indian Cinema at a young age is no joke. Rajkumar Rao is the find of the decade. The actor has delivered a few box office hits but 2024 seems the fairylike year for him.

    Born on 31 August 1984, Rajkummar Rao is from Gurgaon, Haryana. He took great inspiration from Manoj Bajpayee and decided to become an actor. After completing a year of acting course at the Film and Television Institute of India, Rajkummar Rao moved to Mumbai for acting opportunities. He made his debut in 2010. Later he was signed by Ekta Kapoor for Ragini.

    Anurag Kashyap, amongst India’s greatest filmmakers, liked Rajkummar Rao’s work, and signed him for his ambitious film GOW: Part 2. GOW: Part 1 and GOW: Part 2 are amongst the best films ever made in India. It is considered a landmark film in the history of Indian Cinema. The film proved to be a turning point for all of its actors.

    Post GOW: Part 2, Rajkummar Rao became a known name in the Bollywood industry. In 2013, he starred with Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. The film received critical acclaim and did pretty good business at the box office. For his performance in Kai Po Che, Rajkummar Rao earned his first nomination at the Filmfare Awards.

    In 2013, Rajkummar Rao starred as lawyer Shahid Azmi in his biographical film titled Shahid. The film was directed by noted filmmaker Hansal Mehta.     In 2015, Rajkummar Rao starred in Hansal Mehta’s directional Aligarh. The film also starred Manoj Bajpayee in the lead. But 2024 is the fairy-tale year for Rajkummar Rao. The actor is going to have three big releases in the current year.

Opened to rave reviews, Srikanth was a hit at the box office. The film also starred Jyothika, Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, and Jameel Khan. The film was directed by Tushar Hiranandani.

    Rajkummar Rao’s second release of 2024 came with actress Jhanvi Kapoor. The duo starred together in a romantic sports drama film titled ‘Mr & Mrs. Mahi’. The film was directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar. The film also starred Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Arjit Taneja, and Zarina Wahab among others. The cricket drama film is not related to legendary Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But the film is inspired by him and thus it is called Mr & Mrs. Mahi. The film is shot in Jharkhand, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s hometown. Mr & Mrs Mahi did decent business at the box office and emerged as the second hit of 2024 for Rajkummar Rao.

    Rajkummar Rao’s third and final release of 2024 is the much-awaited ‘Stree 2’. As we mentioned before Stree is Rajkummar Rao’s biggest hit film to date. Released in 2018, Stree grossed over 180 crores at the worldwide box office and became one of the biggest hits of the year. Stree 2 is one of the most awaited releases of the year. The film is set to release on 15th August 2024. Stree 2 is predicated to become a blockbuster at the box office by grossing over 200 crores only in India.

    With Stree 2 and his final release of 2024, Rajkummar Rao will be overenjoyed with his magical year of 2024. The actor is currently busy shooting for his forthcoming film titled ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. The film stars Tripti Dimri as the female lead.

    Rajkummar Rao is also expected to start shooting for director duo Raj & DK’s G and Gulaabs for Netflix. The actor will reprise his role of Tipu. The actor is married to actress Patarleka Paul. The duo has been dating each other since 2010 and got married on 15 November 2021 in Chandigarh.

    Jai Hemant Shroff popularly known as T Shroff is the son of noted film actor Jackie Shroff. T Shroff has been a popular face of Bollywood since his debut film. With no struggle, he has been fortunate enough to taste success in his early days of Bollywood. But presently, the actor is facing a massive fading in his movie career. T Shroff has to take accountability to stay relevant since every film of his can’t work only with stunts.

    T Shroff debuted in 2014 with Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heeropanti. The movie was also the debut film of actress Kriti Sanon. Heeropanti went on to become a massive commercial hit and became a massive film franchise for producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid Nadiadwala went on to make Heeropanti 2 as well. For Heeropanti, T Shroff won several awards for the Best Debut Male 2014. T who is quite keen on bodybuilding, and stunt skills was praised in the movie. However, he was severely criticized for his acting performance and dialogue delivery.

    In 2016, T Shroff and Sajid Nadiadwala collaborate once again for another film titled Baaghi. The film starred Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. Baaghi was another film for T Shroff where he displayed his outstanding stunt skills but was criticized for his acting performance. Though Baaghi was a major success and became another big film franchise for the makers.

    Post Baaghi, T Shroff had a bit of a struggle at the box office with flop films such as A Flying Jatt, Student of The Year 2, and Munna Michael. But then a fairy-tale kind of affair happened in his career. T was signed for Yash Raj Film’s massive film titled ‘W1’ which also starred Hrithik Roshan. Released in 2019, W1 became one of the highest-grossing Hindi films and the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019.

    T Shroff once again collaborated with Sajid Nadiadwala in 2020 and released Baaghi 2. Though the film did pretty well business at the box office but the film received poor reviews from the critics. Baaghi 2 remains T Shroff’s last box office success till date.

    Now, the taste of Indian audience has changed. They want to see something new.

    In 2022, T Shroff went on to star in Heropanti 2 with Kriti Sanon and Sajid Nadiadwala as producers. The film was a massive flop for T Shroff and Sajid. They tasted their first flop film together and understood that the audience was looking for something new.

    After Heropanti 2, T Shroff and Kriti Sanon went on to star in Ganapath with the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in a supporting role. Opened generally to negative reviews, Ganapath happened to be a big box office flop. Made on a budget of 190 crores, the film could not even manage to cross over 10 crores at the box office. The film was directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Jackky Bhagnani.

    In 2024, T Shroff starred in Jackky Bhagnani’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film also starred superstar Akshay Kumar in the lead.

    Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was also directed by Sultan and TZH director Ali Abbas Zafar. The expectations were high for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan since it was a large-scale film made on a budget of 350 crores. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was also considered as Akshay Kumar’s comeback film. Even he is witnessing a massive decline in his Bollywood career with continuous flops.

    With massive expectations, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released on 11 April 2024. Opened generally to negative reviews, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan collected 15 crores on Day 1. By the end of its run at cinemas, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan could not even collect more than 80 crores in India and became a major flop for T Shroff.

    Post Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, critics have criticized T Shroff since he is repeating stunts in every film and there is no improvement in his acting and gripping story in his films. T Shroff has also been advised to reduce his fees by the critics. T who used to charge 25-30 crores per film has been suggested to take home 8-10 crores per film. He even has no films in the pipeline.

    Earlier Pathaan and W1 director Sidharth Anand had announced Rambo remake with T Shroff. The remake film was set to be directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Sidharth Anand. But post Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the makers are doubting T’s box office pull and reportedly Rambo has been shelved.

    Though T is set to play a cameo appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3. Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3 is another film of him from the universe. Ajay Devgn is the first actor in Rohit Shetty’s universe. Rohit later went on to feature Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh in the film Sooryavanshi and Simmba. In Singham 3, Rohit Shetty is introducing two new actors in his universe, and that is T Shroff and Deepika Padukone. Both the actors will play a cameo role in the film.

    The reports also suggest that T Shroff and popular filmmaker Karan Johar can collaborate on a large-scale film. T and Karan earlier collaborated for Student of the Year 2 which was a decent hit at the box office. While some reports also suggest that T Shroff is set to star opposite Sara Ali Khan in an film titled ‘Eagle’. Though there has been no official announcement yet.

    Besides a guest appearance in Singham 3, T Shroff has no films in their hands. The makers are doubting the film. However, one good film with an engaging story and screenplay can change to fate of T Shroff.
