  • Actor Suriya Remembers A Lovely Interaction With Prabhas

    Popular Tamil actor and one of the biggest superstars from the South Film Industry, Suriya is presently promoting his upcoming epic fantasy movie in all parts of the country. After attending several film promotional events in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai, the team of Kanguva has arrived in Hyderabad to promote their film to the Telugu audience.

    The Telugu audience are the most passionate film fans and the reception of films like Baahubali, RRR, and Pushpa proves that. The Telugu audience adores, respects, loves, and treats their film idols like their family members. Telugu film actors such as Prabhas, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Mahesh Babu are treated like divinity in their home state.

    Suriya who recently attended a promotional event for his film in Hyderabad recalled a lovely interaction with Prabhas. Following the widespread success of the Baahubali franchise, Prabhas today is one of the biggest superstars in the country and the only pan-India movie actor.

    Suriya revealed that during the shooting of Baahubali no outside actor or outsider was allowed on the film sets in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. But Suriya who was in Hyderabad during that time was allowed to visit the sets.

    Suriya said that he got late and Prabhas was waiting for him long. The actor revealed that he was supposed to have dinner with Prabhas but he got late and Prabhas was waiting till night with dinner prepared for him. Eventually, they dined together that night and it was a memorable occurrence.

    Prabhas is highly known for his amazing hospitality. Be it Hindi movie actors or Tamil movie actors or Kannada movie actors or Malayalam movie actors, anyone who is Hyderabad and is familiar with Prabhas, Prabhas treats that person with adequate home-cooked delicious food. Previously, Prabhas’s Saaho co-star Shraddha Kapoor, and his Kalki 2898 AD co-stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone have praised Prabhas for his amazing hospitality and treating them with pleasant home cooked Indian food.

    Kanguva

    Coming back to Suriya and Kanguva, Kanguva is a fantasy epic fantasy drama film starring Suriya in the lead role with Bobby Deol as the main antagonist. The film stars Disha Patani as the female lead. Kanguva is Baahubali of Tamil Cinema. It is a massive budget periodic film with an interesting storyline and thrilling climax. With a budget of over 350 crores, Kanguva is one of the most expensive Indian films ever. The film was earlier supposed to be released in October but got postponed to November.

    Kanguva releases on 14 November 2024. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. A second part of the film is planned too. But makers are waiting for the response from the audience and reviews from critics. According to Suriya, Kanguva is going to be a lifetime experience for everyone and he is quite confident regarding the film. The film stars Suriya in a dual role. The film is directed by highly successful Tamil filmmaker Siva.

    Bobby Deol is a well-known and distinguished name in the Indian film industry. Though he comes from a famous film family and has the backing of his father Dharmendra, he has made a name for himself with sincerity and hard work. After a series of hit and successful films, Bobby’s film career took a slight turn where he struggled to deliver a hit film. The actor took a major hiatus.     Bobby Deol’s comeback film Poster Boys flopped badly at the box office. It was during this moment that he received a call from one of India’s biggest movie stars Salman Khan. Salman Khan had called Bobby to offer him a major role in his 2018 film Race 3. Bobby Deol underwent a serious body transformation and starred in Race 3 as the main antagonist. Race 3 was a major commercial successfully film despite receiving negative reviews. Race 3 proved to be a breakthrough for Bobby Deol.

    Salman Khan is quite close to Bobby Deol and has promised to help him revive his career. And, he delivered his promise by offering a big role to Bobby Deol in Race 3. Following the success of Race 3, Bobby Deol signed several films and web series.

    After Race 3, Bobby Deol received several movie offers. In 2019 he featured in one of the leads in the multi-starrer film Housefull 4 which was a commercial success. The actor also played the lead in several popular web series.

    In 2023, Bobby Deol starred in one of India’s highest-grossing films ever. He featured in a key role as the antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna among others. Animal is a major commercial success grossing over 900 crores worldwide.

    For his performance in Animal, Bobby Deol received several awards and widespread critical acclaim. His character in Animal was just about 35 to 40 minutes, but the way he has performed has left everyone speechless. Critics called his brief performance to be one of the most impactful performances ever.

    In the coming months, Bobby Deol is going to star as the main antagonist in over five major films. He will be seen next as the main antagonist against Suriya in the 2024 Tamil film Kanguva which will be released soon.

    The actor has also been signed to feature as the main antagonist in Telugu films such as Hari Hara Veera Mallu with Pawan Kalyan and the untitled NBK 109 with Nandamuri Balakrishna.

    Bobby Deol will also feature as the villain against Alia Bhatt in the film Alpha. Alpha is YRF’s first female-led film from the YRF Universe which he has delivered films like Pathaan, T Series, and W1. The film releases in 2025.

    Bobby Deol has doubled his acting fees following the immense success of Animal. He is now charging over 10 crores to play a main antagonist in films.
