    Actress Ananya Pandey’s debut TV show is set to release soon

    With no theatrical film release in 2024, Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey is soon going to have two big digital releases on Amazon Prime and Netflix. The actress recently announced her debut TV show/series for Amazon Prime. The show is titled ‘Call Me Bae’.

    Call Me Bae stars an ensemble cast of Ananya Pandey, Vir Das, Varun Sood, Gurfateh Pirzada, Lisa Mishra, Mini Mathur, and Vihaan Samat among others. The principal shooting of the show began in 2023 with an official announcement in early 2024. The comedy-drama series is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and directed by Colin D’Cunha with Apoorva Mehta acting as the executive producer. The show is written by Ishita Mohitra, Rohit Nair, and Samina Motlekar.

    The TV Show is set to release on 6 September 2024. The trailer of Call Me Bae received mixed reviews. The show features Ananya Pandey as a girl from the rich neighborhood of South Delhi who arrives in Mumbai for a job at a news channel. The show will be aired in 150+ countries in English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil languages. A second season of Call Me Bae is planned which will air after 2026.

    Ananya Pandey’s second release of 2024 is a Hindi drama film directed by noted filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane. The film is titled ‘CTRL’ and is scheduled to release on 4 October 2024 on Netflix. The film also stars Vihaan Samat. The show is written by Vikramaditya Motwane, Avinash Sampath, and Sumukhi Suresh. The show is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya Menon. Vikramaditya Motwane previously directed the award-winning and widespread critically acclaimed show ‘Sacred Games’ for Netflix.
