  • Vicky Kaushal Calls Katrina Kaif Bigger Superstar Than Him

    Katrina Kaif is one of the leading ladies of Bollywood

    With an experience of over two decades, Katrina Kaif is one of the biggest actresses in India. She has featured as the female lead in several blockbuster and high-grossing films. Her husband is Vicky Kaushal, one of the most brilliant actors among the young generation of Bollywood actors.

    Recently in an interview, Vicky Kaushal spoke about his wife Katrina Kaif, and called her a bigger superstar than him.

    Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Rajasthan, India. They held several ceremonies such as the Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet ceremonies followed by a Indian wedding. They got married on 9 December 2021 at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.

    Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding is one of the biggest celebrity weddings in India. it received wide coverage globally with their wedding pictures becoming the most liked pictures on Instagram in India.

    No Bollywood celebrity or VVIP in India attended the wedding. It was quite a private wedding surrounded by close friends and family.

    Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are yet to feature in a movie project together. However, they did a TV advertisement together.

    On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is presently gearing up for the release of his upcoming periodic historical biography drama film titled ‘Chhaava’. Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal. The film is set to release on 6 December 2024 but is reportedly postponed to avoid releasing against another big Telugu film titled ‘Pushpa 2. Vicky Kaushal will also be seen playing one of the male leads in legendary Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming ambitious project titled ‘L & W’. L & W is an upcoming romantic drama film starring Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

    On the work front, Katrina Kaif presently has no film offers nor she is shooting for any film. Her film career is going through a bit of fluctuations. She is no longer getting big film offers like her counterpart Deepika Padukone. But, in her peak, Katrina Kaif was featured in major commercial films like Dhoom 3, ETT, Bharat, TZH, Bang Bang, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobarra, and several other comedy hit films.

    Katrina Kaif was last seen in the 2023 hit film T3. The actress hasn’t signed anything yet. Though she is an entrepreneur today. She launched her own brand beauty products and she is quite into brand endorsements and ads.

    In a stunning revelation, popular Hindi film director Anees Bazmee has revealed that Katrina Kaif did not dub her voice for his 2007 film Welcome. Welcome is a 2007 superhit comedy film starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal, and Mallika Sherawat among others.

    While promoting his upcoming comedy horror film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Anees Bazmee revealed that it was hard for Katrina Kaif to dub her voice in Welcome. The director added that due to Katrina Kaif’s unclear diction a voice artist was hired for Katrina Kaif while she was shooting for the film. Anees Bazmee said that Katrina Kaif tried a lot, she was learning and trying to put in effort but they were not confident. Hence a voice artist was hired for Katrina Kaif.

    Katrina Kaif is one of the biggest actresses in the history of the Indian Film Industry. She is amongst the highest-paid actress in Bollywood and one of the most beautiful actresses. Katrina Kaif is British born in Hong Kong. She moved to several countries and eventually settled in London, United Kingdom with her family. After a successful modeling career, Katrina Kaif arrived in Mumbai to become an actress. Hence it was hard for Katrina Kaif to speak in Hindi during the initial years of her movie career.

    After Welcome (2007), director Anees Bazmee once again collaborated with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif for another comedy film. In 2008, Katrina Kaif starred in Anees Bazmee’s directed Singh is Kinng for which Katrina Kaif did not need a voice artist, and she successfully dubbed her own voice in Hindi. Since then, Katrina Kaif has dubbed her voice in every film of hers.

    As of now, Katrina Kaif has no film on hand. The actress was last seen in the 2023 film T3 and the critically acclaimed drama film Merry Christmas.

    Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt were supposed to start the shooting for Jee Le Zaara but the film is temporarily dropped as of now.

    Jee Le Zaara is an upcoming adventure road trip drama film. The film is quite similar to Zindagi Na Milengi Dobarra as Jee Le Zaara is helmed by the same makers. It is a dream project for its makers such as Zoya Akhtar (director), Farhan Akhtar (producer and Ritesh Sidhwani (co-producer). The film was announced in 2021 and the shooting for the same was supposed to begin in 2022.

    In an interview, Alia Bhatt revealed that Jee Le Zaara is not shelved and everyone wants this film to happen.

    Producer Farhan Akhtar in an interview said that Jee Le Zaara is a massive and high-budget film that will be shot in several European countries. As the film stars three popular and big actresses Katrina, Priyanka, and Alia, the makers are trying hard to cast three perfectly suitable and big male actors. Jee Le Zaara might take several years to release.
