    Actress Shraddha Kapoor who portrays the character of a ghost in Stree 2 has been paid a whopping 7 crores for her role. She is one of the highest paid actresses among all young actresses in Bollywood. But actresses such as Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone charge 20 to 25 crores. In Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor had less screen time due to her character.

    Actor Rajkummar Rao has been a whopping 7 crores for his performance in Stree 2. He had the maximum screen time in the film among other cast members. Rajkummar Rao usually charges anywhere near 6 to 8 crores per film. He is underpaid as actors such as Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan charge over 20 crores for a film. Rajkummar Rao is one of the greatest actors ever. But he doesn’t enjoy fan following like Varun and Kartik.

    Actors Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee were paid 1 crore respectively for their performance. They are the underdogs of Stree 1 and Stree 2. Without Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee, Stree 2 is complete. They both provide the extra dosage of comedy and funniness.

    Superstar Akshay Kumar did his cameo in Stree 2 for free. He charged nothing because of his future collaboration with the makers of Stree 2.

    With an earning of over 800+ crores globally, Stree 2 has emerged as one of the biggest successes in the history of Indian Cinema. The film is jointly produced by Amar Kaushik, Dinesh Vijan, and Jyoti Deshpande.

    Dinesh Vijan is the founder and CEO of the production company Maddock Films while Jyoti Deshpande is the CEO of Jio Studios. Amar Kaushik is the director of the film besides being a co-producer.

    The entire country is wholeheartedly waiting for the release of the second part of the Pushpa. It was the year 2021 when the Pushpa movie was released in theatres in 2021. Primary titled Pushpa: The Rise, the film received widespread popularity upon its theatrical release in 2021 and digital release in 2022. The first part of Pushpa had caused havoc in India and at the box office. The lead actor of the movie, Allu Arjun even received National Film Award for the best actor for Pushpa. And now its second part which is slated to release in December 2024 is expected to emerge as a mega blockbuster.

    We are not saying that Pushpa: The Rise was an excellent film. The film had received mixed reviews too. But overall, the Indian audience enjoyed this entertainer. The film received praise from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi audiences. In the Hindi language, Pushpa: The Rise recorded big numbers by earning over 100 crores.

    Now it’s time for the second part, Pushpa: The Rule

    Popular actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu performed a stunning song in Pushpa 1. It was one of the most widespread songs ever and one of the best songs ever.

    Now according to the sources, superstar actress Shraddha Kapoor is stepping in to do an song in the second part of the film. She will share the stage and dance with Allu Arjun. Do remember, Shraddha Kapoor has just delivered Stree 2 which ranks as one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever. It is believed that the makers have offered a whopping 10 crores to Shraddha Kapoor for the item song and she is confirmed to star in the movie.

    Pushpa: The Rule is a massive entertainer. It is one of the most expensive Indian films ever. The film has been made on a massive 500 crore budget. According to the sources, the makers of the film have already recovered twice the budget through satellite, digital, and song rights. If reports are to be believed, the makers of the film have already made 1000 crores even before the release of their film. Netflix India has bought the digital rights of the film for a whopping 270 crores. Netflix will release the film in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Upon its release on 6 December, Pushpa 2 is predicted to emerge as one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever.

    Actor Allu Arjun had dedicated five years of his life to the Pushpa film series. The shooting of the first part began in 2019 but suffered. The shooting of the second part began in 2022 after the release of its first part. Presently, with just a few weeks to the release, the makers are still shooting for the movie.

    All the actors from the first part of Pushpa will be seen reprising their respective roles in the second part as well.

    A sequel to the film Stree (2018), Stree 2 led by Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the leads has opened to an overwhelming response at the theatres. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik.

    The film stars an ensemble cast of Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The 2018 horror comedy film Stree had received positive reviews and had emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year. Surely, Stree 2 was a much-awaited film. But the extraordinary reception from the audience is startling.

    Stree 2 was always expected to perform well at the box office. Upon its release, the film received widespread critical acclaim. The film is bursting with epic one-liners and mad comedy and horror sequences. The film has received rave reviews from critics and audiences who are hailing the film as the best horror comedy film ever. Not just the reviews, Stree 2 is performing like a serious hit at the box office.

    Stree 2 was released on 15 Aug 2024. The film clashed with Akshay Kumar’s film Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s film Vedaa. It is a three-movie clash at the box office. But Stree 2 is performing like it’s a solo release.

    Stree 2 earned over 55 crores on its opening day. The film has already crossed the 450-crore mark and is all set to enter the prestigious 500-crore club. Only a few films have managed to enter the big 500-crore club and those are all the films such as Baahuali 2, Gadar 2, Jawan, and Pathaan. A comedy and horror film like Stree 2 grossing over 500 crores is a big deal for the entire film industry. Stree 2 might be the first film to enter the 600-crore club too since there is no big release in September.

    Stree 2 is all set to beat Jawan and become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever. You heard that right. Shahrukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan has been shattered.

    With Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor having no release in 2024. Bollywood had limited options in the present year. Hrithik Roshan’s January 2024 ‘FTR’ was predicted to emerge as the highest grossing film of the year. But the film did decent business at the box office.

    The only big films that are yet to be released in 2024 are Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

    Both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 release on the same day in November 2024 and it would be tough for both of the films to perform well at the box office. If released separately, both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have the potential to enter the Bollywood 300-crore club. But as of now Stree 2 is sure a 550+ crore grosser in the Hindi language and the biggest Bollywood hit of 2024.

    Stree 2 is a part of the Maddock Supernational Universe that covers horror comedy films produced by Dinesh Vijan under his production house Maddock Films. Overall, four horror comedy films have been released, Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024), and Stree 2 (2024). Munjya which was released recently is amongst the biggest hit of 2024.

    With Stree 2, Maddock Supernational Universe is now amongst Bollywood’s biggest film franchises. The YRF Universe is the biggest film franchise of Bollywood. But the Maddock Supernational Universe has beaten the Rohit Shetty Universe to emerge as the second biggest film franchise. Not just the Rohit Shetty Universe, Maddock Supernational Universe has left out the Dhoom film franchise, Dabangg film franchise, Race film franchise, Krissh film franchise, and several other film franchises to emerge as the biggest franchise besides YRF Universe. The Maddock Supernational Universe has seven to eight horror comedy films in the pipeline.

    The future is astonishing for Maddock Supernational Universe. They have several horror comedy films planned to release in upcoming years including Stree 3 and Bhediya 2. They also have another standalone horror comedy film planned with Akshay Kumar. (Major Spoiler), both Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar have a special appearance in Stree 2. The next film from the Maddock Supernational Universe is ‘Vijay Nagar Vampires’ which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. The film is scheduled to be released on 14th February 2025. The film will be directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.

    The horror comedy film Stree 2 will soon become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever

    Though the audience has plenty of options. The other Independence Day releases are Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein which too have received positive reviews from critics and audiences.

    Khel Khel Mein is a comedy-drama film and the Indian remake of the 2016 popular Italian film Perfect Strangers. The film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal among others. The film has received positive reviews.

    While the third 2024 Independence Day release is Vedaa. It is starring John Abraham, Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ashish Vidyarthi. Vedaa too has received positive reviews.

    Stree 2 vs Vedaa vs Khel Khel Mein. A tough choice for the audience but Stree 2 has taken the lead. The makers of Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein would be overjoyed if their respective films at least collected over 100 crores globally because it is impossible to stand against a hurricane like Stree 2 that has the best potential to gross over 700 crores globally. The only film that releases next is Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency which is scheduled to release on 6th September. But her film is carrying zero hype.

    We can’t even imagine that hurricane Stree 3 will set with its release in 2027 or 2028. Yes! Stree 3 and Stree 4 are already confirmed with another standalone horror comedy film that will feature only Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
