  • Sidharth Malhotra Announces His New Film

    The actor will star in a supernatural film

    Popular Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has confirmed his next film. He will feature in the lead in a film titled ‘VVAN: Force of the Forest’. The film is set to release in 2025.

    VVAN: Force of the Forest

    Sidharth Malhotra’s VVAN: Force of the Forest is a supernatural folk drama film. VVAN: Force of the Forest is produced by Ekta Kapoor under her production banner Balaji Telefilms and another production company TVF (The Viral Fever).

    VVAN: Force of the Forest is set to release in 2025. The shooting of the same begins soon.

    VVAN: Force of the Forest will feature Sara Ali Khan as the female lead alongside Sidharth Malhotra. It marks Sara Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra’s first collaboration together. The film will also feature several Bollywood actors in the supporting roles. Critically acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi is rumored to be playing a key role in the film. Whereas a big superstar is rumored to be playing a guest appearance in the film.

    VVAN: Force of the Forest is made on a budget of over 100+ crores. Most of its budget will be spent on VFX and visual graphics. Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan’s VFX Company ‘Red Chilies VFX’ will handle the VFX work.

    Besides VVAN: Force of the Forest, Sidharth Malhotra will be also seen in a romantic comedy film reportedly titled ‘Param Sundari’. Though the film is not officially announced yet. Param Sundari is a 2025 romantic comedy film directed by Laxman Utekar. The film will be produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. Actress Jhanvi Kapoor has been roped in to play the female lead and love interest of Sidharth Malhotra. It is their first collaboration together after featuring in several TV advertisements.

    With two major film releases in 2025, Sidharth Malhotra is hoping to bounce back. He is one of the most attractive and good looking actors in India, he has amazing acting skills and enjoys an amazing screen presence but his film career is quite disordered and worsening.

    Unfortunately, the biggest and the best film of his movie career was released on OTT platforms in 2021.

    It was quite unfair of the makers of the Race franchise to replace Saif Ali Khan with Salman Khan for the third part of the film. Saif Ali Khan headed the first two parts of the Race film franchise graciously. But he was replaced in the third part. Now with the fourth part making the headlines. It is reported that Saif Ali Khan is set to return with Race 4.

    Race is a film franchise owned by producers Ramesh Taurani and Kumar Taurani under their production company Tips Industries. It is Bollywood’s one of the most commercially successful film franchises. Race film franchise has delivered over three films and all of the films have been commercially successful.

    Actor Saif Ali Khan led the first two parts of the film in the lead. But he was replaced with Salman Khan in Race 3. Salman Khan is one of the biggest superstars of India. He has delivered several blockbusters and high-grossing films. The makers of Race 3 were close friends of Salman Khan and signed him for the reason that Salman Khan is bigger than Saif Ali Khan.

    Race 3 was directed by Remo D’souza. Race 3 was released on 15 June 2018 with an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacquline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Freddy Daruwala, and Saqib Saleem.

    Race 3 was commercially successful due to Salman Khan’s stardom in India. but it wasn’t a blockbuster like Salman Khan’s previous films. Race 3 is considered as one of the worst Indian films ever. The film received widespread negative reviews due to its storyline, screenplay, direction, and performance of its cast. Director Remo D’souza received criticism for his bad filmmaking.

    The first part of the film, Race (2008) was released on 21 March 2008. It featured Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu, Anil Kapoor, and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles. The film was shot in South Africa, Goa and Dubai.

    Race (2008) received widespread critical acclaim for its story, screenplay, songs, direction, and performance from its cast, especially Saif Ali Khan. It was a major commercial success.

    Race 2 was released in 2013 with Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor reprising their roles. John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Deepika Padukone joined the cast for the second part.

    Race 2 was commercially successful but received mixed reviews. Saif Ali Khan again was praised for his performance.

    Race 4

    The shooting of Race 4 is set to begin in 2025. Saif Ali Khan has been confirmed to feature in the lead. During the release of Race 3, fans had criticized the makers of the film for their decision to replace Saif Ali Khan with Salman Khan.

    Actor Sidharth Malhotra is confirmed to feature in the film besides Saif Ali Khan. Interestingly, Sidharth Malhotra was offered Race 3 in 2017 but then he declined the offer. Now, he is officially the part of the fourth part. He will be playing the lead.

    Race 4 will follow the story of Race 1 and Race 2.

    Race 3 will stay as a standalone film.

    Actress Disha Patani is expected to feature in Race 4 as the female lead. The makers are shortlisting several actors for the main antagonist role and several other characters. According to the reports, a big film star from the South Film Industry may come on board to play the role of the main antagonist.

    In 2018, Sidharth Malhotra suggested Karan Johar to make a biopic on Captain Vikram Batra. Sidharth and Kiara who are husband and wife today met on the sets of Shershaah and began dating later.

Shershaah received widespread critical acclaim with high praise for its direction, story, music, editing, drama, and performance by the lead cast. The film proved to be career career-changing film for Sidharth Malhotra who received extensive praise for his hard work and his portrayal of Vikram Batra. By the end of August 2021, Shershaah became the most-watched Indian film on Amazon Prime. It is considered the best Indian film released digitally. The film won several awards including a National Film Award. Two years later, Sidharth and Kiara Advani who starred together in Shershaah as a couple got married in 2023 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.     Post Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra began focusing on drama films. Though he did a drama comedy film titled Thank God alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. The film was a commercial flop.     Besides Yodha, Sidharth Malhotra starred in a web series titled IPF in 2024. The show was released on Amazon Prime Video and became a major hit.     After Gamechanger, Kiara Advani will be seen next as the female lead in Ayan Mukerji’s W2. W2 stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead with Jr NTR as the main antagonist in his Hindi debut film.     Kiara Advani has also been signed to feature as the female lead in D3. Shahrukh Khan who has walked out of D3 is now being replaced by Ranveer Singh.
