On 8th September, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone gave birth to their daughter named ‘Dua’.

    Deepika Padukone is on a long maternity leave. She won’t return to work for almost a year. Deepika Padukone hasn’t announced anything due to her maternity leave. But her next few films are confirmed.

    Deepika Padukone was last seen in an extended guest appearance in Rohit Shetty’s 2024 release ‘Singham Again’. Rohit Shetty introduced Deepika Padukone as the new character Shakti Shetty.

    Rohit Shetty has confirmed that he is doing a female-centric film with Deepika Padukone. It will be the first female film from his Universe. The film is reportedly titled ‘Lady Singham’ and it is a standalone film of the Universe.

    Lady Singham will feature Deepika Padukone in the lead. She will portray the character of Shakti Shetty. The film will tell the story of Shakti Shetty, her childhood, her life, her parents, and her journey from a simple girl to becoming a top officer.

    Rohit Shetty said that he is presently writing the story and they have a plan. The director added that they introduced Deepika Padukone in the Universe only to give her a standalone female film. His team is writing the story and script and it might take several years to release the film. But it is confirmed that a female-led film is definitely coming.

    Singham Again received mixed to positive reviews with criticism for Deepika Padukone and T Shroff’s extended guest appearance.     The Lady K was made on a budget of 45 crores and did not even earn 1 lakh in India. It is considered as the biggest box office flops in the history of Indian Cinema. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was supposed to release solo but Singham Again which was originally scheduled to release on 15th August 2024 got postponed to November 2024.     Director Anees Bazmee and producer Bhushan Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is one of the most awaited and biggest films of the year. The film was postponed and was successfully released on 20 May 2022 to overwhelming response. 2022 was the year when most of the Hindi and Bollywood films were failing at the box office. Whereas, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 received critical acclaim and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year. The success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 gave the makers the confidence to come up with the third part of the film.

    Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was announced in March 2023 with Kartik Aaryan reprising the role of Rooh Baba in the film. Following the success of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and the craze of Tripti Dimri, the actress was immediately signed to play the female lead in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. In addition, Vidya Balan who essayed the role of Manjulika in the first part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa was announced to reprise the role of Manjulika in the third part of the film.

    Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a sure-shot successful venture for its makers and cast since the buzz of the film is high. Recently, Stree 2 which is a horror comedy genre emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever beating films like Pathaan, Jawan, and Animal. He also mentioned that the audience would have several options like watching Singham Again or watching a horror comedy genre which as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 or they can watch both films. He also stated that he would go to see Singham Again.

    However, Singham Again which is made on a massive budget has to earn over 300 crores in Hindi to become a commercial success. Whereas the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 would be satisfied if there will earns nearly 200 crores in Hindi.

    Producer Bhushan Kumar is quite confident about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

    He has already announced the fourth part of the horror comedy franchise titled ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’. In an interview, Bhushan Kumar revealed his plan to bring the fourth part of the film in the next few years. He confirmed that Anees Bazmee will return to direct the fourth part. Bhushan Kumar also teased that the fourth part may feature the franchise’s original protagonist Akshay Kumar in the lead besides Kartik Aaryan in the second lead. He also said that Vidya Balan and Kiara Advani too might return for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4. The shooting of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is expected to start in 2026 with a global release in 2027. Anees Bazmee has already started writing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 will be made on a budget of over 300 crores becoming the most expensive Indian horror comedy film.

    Besides the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Bhushan Kumar is trying to build several film franchises. He also owns Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal franchise. The second part of the Animal film is going to be huge. Bhushan Kumar also owns Ajay Devgn’s drama franchise ‘Raid’ and romance comedy franchise De De Pyaar De’.     The trailer of Singham Again is 4.50 minutes which is quite frustrating. Every actor gets a lengthy introduction scene. The trailer is bursting with cringe dialogues and mindless stunt sequences. The entire film has CGI and VFX graphics.

    Singham Again might come as cringe to many. There are too many guest appearances and too many big stars featuring. And it doesn’t end here as one big superstar is set to make a guest appearance in the post-credit scenes of the film.

    Spoiler Alert: Entry of Chulbul Pandey

    It is indeed true. One of the biggest superstars of the nation Salman Khan is confirmed to make a guest appearance in the film. He will star and reprise his role of Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg film franchise. Chulbul Pandey is the most iconic movie character in India. Rohit Shetty has often expressed his desire to introduce Chulbul Pandey in his Universe and this time he has done the unthinkable. It may be for a minute or two minutes but Salman Khan is confirmed to star as Chulbul Pandey in the post-credits scene of Singham Again.

    Salman Khan’s Dabanng was released in 2010 to widespread critical acclaim. The film emerged as a major commercial success with Dabangg becoming the biggest franchise. Salman Khan’s Dabangg character became an overnight sensation. It is still one of the most iconic characters in the history of Indian Cinema.

    Followed by Dabangg in 2010, Rohit Shetty brought Singham film in 2011. Singham was a remake of a Tamil film of the same name starring Suriya in the lead role. Besides Dabangg, Rohit Shetty’s Singham became another iconic character. And, today Rohit Shetty is combining both the franchise and brining both the iconic characters together.

    According to the sources, Rohit Shetty recently met Salman Khan on the sets of his upcoming film. It was a short discussion where the director seemed to have convinced Salman Khan to do a cameo in his film. Salman who shares a healthy and great equation with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn could not refuse. The makers of Singham Again are yet to shoot the post-credit scene of Salman Khan with the film releasing in just 20 days.

    Singham Again vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

    Singham Again was earlier scheduled to be released on 15th August 2024 but got postponed due to post-production work. Later, the film was announced to release in November with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was announced to be released in November last year. But now with Singham Again coming in November things have got uglier and this will affect the business of both of the films. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is one of the most awaited films of the year.

    Singham Again is jointly produced by Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgn, and Jio Studios. Both the films Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are sure shot superhits. But with Salman Khan making a cameo in Singham Again, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 would be anxious. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has to be a massive entertaining comedy horror film to become a blockbuster.  While Singham Again is a certified blockbuster even if it receives mixed reviews.

    We predict Singham Again to earn over 300 crores in Hindi and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to earn over 150 crores in Hindi. If released solo, Singham Again has a chance of earning more than 500 crores in Hindi, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will earn over 300 crores in Hindi.

    Singham Again is set to become the highest grossing film for Rohit Shetty by beating the lifetime collection of his previous films ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Simmba’.

Ajay Devgn is one of the biggest superstars of India. He has five big films releasing in 2024.

    Ajay Devgn had a good decade from 2010 to 2024. He delivered numerous blockbuster and iconic films such as Singham, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Golmaal 3, Raajneeti, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Rascals, Bol Bachchan, Son of Sardaar, Singham Returns, Drishyam, Shivaay, Baadshaho, Golmaal Again, Raid, Total Dhamaal, De De Pyaar De, Tanhaji, Runway 34, Drishyam 2, Bholaa, Shaitaan and Maidaan.

    In 2020, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior remained as the highest-grossing film of the year. The film was released in January 2020 and saw the hype. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior had opened to widespread critical acclaim and grossed over 300 crores globally. The film was directed by Om Raut.

    In 2021, Ajay Devgn starred in a guest appearance as Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. Sooryavanshi starred Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi in Rohit Shetty’s Universe. The film also had a guest appearance by Ranveer Singh as Simmba. Ranveer earlier starred as Simmba in a 2018 movie titled Simmba.

    After no big release in 2021, Ajay Devgn had five releases in 2022. His first release of the year was Runway 34 which was directed and produced by him as well. Though Runway 34 flopped to perform well at the box office it received a positive response and performed well digitally on the OTT platform. His second release of 2022 was a comedy-drama film titled ‘Thank God’ which again flopped to perform well at the box office. The film also starred Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.

    Ajay Devgn’s final release of 2022 in lead was Drishyam 2. Drishyam 2 received widespread critical acclaim and grossed over 350 crores globally and over 200 crores in India. Drishyam 2 (Hindi) was an official remake of Drishyam 2 (Malayalam) that was released on the OTT platform in 2020. The film was finally released in 2024 but underperformed at the box office despite receiving positive reviews.     Ranveer Singh Bhavnani professionally known as Ranveer Singh comes from a filmy background. His parents are not exactly from the film industry. But he has quite a few families interrelated to the Bollywood industry.

    In 2010, YRF Head Aditya Chopra was awe-struck watching Ranveer Singh’s audition footage and immediately signed him in director Maneesh Sharma’s directional ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ opposite Anushka Sharma. The film became a commercial success at the box office and Ranveer Singh was awarded the Filmfare Award for the best debut male.

    Following the popularity of Ranveer and Anushka, YRF head and producer Aditya Chopra produced another movie with Ranveer and Anushka in the lead and Maneesh Sharma as the director. The film was titled ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ and the film performed well at the box office. Both the films ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ happened to be a breakthrough project for Ranveer Singh and as well as Anushka Sharma.

    Ranveer Singh has consistently managed to grab the eyeballs and stay in the headlines due to his unique flamboyant fashion sense and his relationship with then girlfriend now wife Deepika Padukone.

    One of the most important films in Ranveer Singh’s career was 83 which was supposed to emerge a major success for its makers. 83 (2021) is a biographical film about the Indian Cricket Team led by Kapil Dev which won the 1983 Cricket World Cup as underdogs. The film was written and directed by Kabir Khan. The film starred an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dhairya Karwa, Ammy Virk and Harrdy Sandhu among others.     In 2023, Ranveer Singh managed to hit the box office with Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s directional ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’.     Ranveer Singh has no release in 2024 besides doing a guest appearance in Singham Again. A few of his recently signed films have been shelved whereas he was heavily criticized for replacing Shahrukh Khan in D3.

    Ranveer was supposed to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for another periodic drama film titled ‘Baiju Bawra’ following their successful collaboration in Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shelved ‘Baiju Bawra’ for now and announced another big project with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

    A few years ago, Ranveer and famous South director Shankar announced a film together. However, that film is also dropped due to creative differences.

    Ranveer Singh was announced to play the character of Shaktimaan in a Hindi superhero film. Shaktimaan was the most popular superhero TV Show played by Mukesh Khanna. A film on Shaktimaan was announced with Ranveer Singh but that film too has been shelved.

    Earlier the year director Prasanth Verma delivered a special film called HM. The Telugu superhero film received widespread critical acclaim and grossed over 350 crores globally becoming one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2024. Soon after HM, Prasanth Verma announced a collaboration with Ranveer Singh. But recently the news broke out that this film too has been shelved due to creative differences.

    Ranveer Singh has lost five to six films in the last six to eight months while D3 has generated a lot of hullabaloos for him.

    Following the mammoth success of Pathaan and Jawan, Shahrukh Khan has dropped the plans of doing D3 and is looking to do something fresh. While the makers of D3 signed Ranveer Singh to replace Shahrukh Khan and star as D in D3. This, of course, didn’t go well with the SRK fans who showed their disappointment and asked Ranveer Singh and director Farhan Akhtar to shelve D3. Ranveer can to do any film with Farhan Akhtar with another title but not D3. According to the reports, the makers of D3 are still muddled with the film. While some reports also suggest that Kiara Advani will be playing the female lead in D3.

    As of now, Ranveer Singh has no films in hand. Also, he has taken maternity leave as he and Deepika Padukone are expected to become parents soon. But the actor is planning a big comeback.

    This one is a very big film. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s December 2023 release Animal prompted mayhem in the country. The film achieved extraordinary numbers at the box office and formed ridiculous hype. Though the lead actor Ranbir Kapoor’s performance and acting were highly celebrated.

    The film starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandhanna, Tripti Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Shakti Kapoor among others. The film was criticized for its runtime but overall audience enjoyed the film in large numbers. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga showed a small glimpse of Animal Park (a sequel to the Animal movie) in the end credits and shaped a huge excitement for the second part. The shooting of Animal Park will only begin in 2026 once Sandeep Reddy Vanga is done shooting for his next film with actor Prabhas.

    W2 is the next film from YRF’s Universe. Earlier films from the YRF’s Universe are ETT (2012), TZH (2017), W1 (2019), Pathaan (2023), and T3 (2023). A small glimpse of Hrithik Roshan from W2 was shown in the post-credit scenes of T3. The small glimpse generated huge hype for W2 which is slated to release in 2025.

    The film stars Hrithik Roshan as agent Kabir. W2 is also special as it marks the Bollywood debut of actor Jr. NTR, one of South India’s biggest movie stars. Jr. NTR plays the antagonist in W2. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji who is currently shooting the film in several international locations. W2 is expected to emerge as one of the highest-grossing films of 2025. The film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead.

    Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2

    One of the most loved films in India and a rare film that has no enemies. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is one of the most celebrated films in Indian Cinema. Upon its release, the film received widespread critical acclaim. The script, story, screenplay, direction, and performance by Salman Khan, everything went right for Bajrangi Bhaijaan to become such a huge film in India.

    Earlier in an event, Salman Khan confirmed a sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However, Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 will take several years to release.     Kalki 2898 AD Part 2

    Director Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD was released recently and has already kept the fans waiting for the second part. According to the makers, they have already shot 60% of Kalki 2898 AD Part 2. However, the film won’t be released anytime soon. The scientific film has received international critical acclaim and is called a landmark of Indian Cinema.

    If the box office is concerned, Kalki 2898 AD has already grossed over 600 crores globally in five days and is a huge success in the making. By the end of its theatrical run, Kalki 2898 AD will emerge as one of the highest-grossing films in India. Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Hassan. All the actors are expected to reprise their roles in the sequel. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin.

    Pathaan 2

    Following the success of Pathaan, YRF has sped up the process of producing and releasing their films. Their first film was ETT in 2012 and their second film, a sequel to ETT, titled TZH was released in 2017. YRF took a long gap of five years. But now since Pathaan in 2023, YRF has folded the resources and has planned several films from its Universe. A sequel of Pathaan is planned as Pathaan 2 where Shahrukh Khan will reprise his role and Deepika Padukone might reprise her role.

    Singham Again

    Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again could be the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2024. The film is all set to release in November 2024. This is the fifth film from Rohit Shetty’s Universe. Earlier films are Singham (2011), Singham Return (2014), Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). Singham Again stars Ajay Devgn as Singham and Kareena Kapoor Khan as his wife.

    The film has special appearances from Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi. The other two actors who will be seen in Singham Again in a special appearance are Deepika Padukone and T Shroff.     T vs P

    When it releases, T vs P could emerge as the highest-grossing film in India. T Vs P is YRF head Aditya Chopra’s dream project. The film will star two real-life good friends and two of India’s biggest movie stars Shahrukh Khan as Pathaan and Salman Khan as T in the leads.

    This film from YRF’s Universe, T Vs P will be the biggest Indian film ever with Salman and Shahrukh against each other. Director of W1 (2019) and Pathaan (2023), Sidharth Anand will direct T vs P.

    However, the film will take several years since YRF is currently producing other films from its Universe. Before T vs P, the audience will get to see Hrithik Roshan’s W2 in 2025, Alia Bhatt in YRF’s first female-led film, Pathaan 2 and we might also have T4. T vs P is surely the biggest film ever and no doubt makers will have a hard time scheduling and spacing everything to shoot such a mammoth film. T vs P could also be the last film from the YRF Universe.
