The film has received critical acclaim and praise from viewers who watched the film on the digital platform. But the film flopped at the box office when it was released theatrically.

    For Netflix (India), Khel Khel Mein is their most successful venture of 2024. It is on the edge to become one of the most watched films on the digital platform. But what’s so special about the film?

    Khel Khel Mein is a comedy drama film involving a group of friends. It is a very entertaining and comic film. Khel Khel Mein is an official Hindi remake of the 2016 Italian film ‘Perfect Strangers’.

    Perfect Strangers is written and directed by David di Donatello. Perfect Strangers was a commercially successful film and received critical acclaim. It has been remade in a total of 28 languages including the Hindi remake titled Khel Khel Mein.

    Khel Khel Mein revolves around a group of friends who get to gather for a wedding in Jaipur. On one night they get to gather and play a game where all of the friends have to place their mobile phones on the dining table and every time there is a message, notification, or call the receiver has to share the details with other participants.

    Khel Khel Mein is a highly comedy film and quite enjoyable but it flopped at the box office.

    The film was released on 15th August 2024. Khel Khel Mein released with the drama film Vedaa and the horror comedy film Stree 2 on the release day. Stree 2 emerged as a mega blockbuster and the highest grossing Hindi film in India ever while Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa flopped.

    Khel Khel Mein was directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, and Vipul D Shah. The film was shot in Mumbai, Udaipur and London.

    The film is reportedly made on a budget of 100 crores including fees of 20 crores for its lead actor Akshay Kumar. Khel Khel Mein earned over 55 crores in India in over a month. The film could have easily earned over 100 crores if it had been released a few weeks later and would have avoided the release with Stree 2 and Vedaa.

    Khel Khel Mein features an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal among others. You can watch the film on Netflix.

Taapsee Pannu has featured in several Hindi and several hit films. She was last seen opposite Shahrukh Khan in the 2023 hit film Dunki. The actress revealed that she was paid less for her acting fees.

    In an interview, the actress revealed that many people think that she is doing films like Judwaa 2 and Dunki for money. But the reality is that she isn’t getting much money for such big commercial films. The actress added that she was paid enough for her Netflix film Haseen Dillruba where she took the major and lead role. But for films like Judwaa 2, Mission Mangal, and Dunki, she is offered supporting and less important roles. The actress also added that sometimes it feels like the makers are doing a favor by offering her big commercial films opposite big actors.

    Taapsee Pannu headlined the 2024 Netflix film ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ a sequel to her 2021 film Hasseen Dillruba. The actress featured opposite Vikrant Massey. She essayed the main female lead and a major role in the film.

    Taapsee Pannu is one of the most underrated actresses presently. She is paid less than other commercial actresses such as Disha Patani, Jhanvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Pandey.
